The MME gets a lot of kudos for the size of the frunk, but as I drive around I wonder if that's not a lot of wasted space. I wonder in the future if they will take some inches from the front of the EV and add it into the inside. I am not complaining about the interior size, but figure we can always use more space and be as efficient with the MME as possible. I think @Ford Motor Company could add 4-6 inches of interior without a huge loss to the front of the MME. Thoughts?

Its the first car I have ever owned that can move a gas can, a propane tank or a small keg without damaging the interior. I love my frunk. Kids get super muddy hiking/camping/sledding, throw that stuff in the frunk!

No shortening of the nose, please. Cab-forward has never really been a favorite design cue for me and cab-over in a car it’s just ugly. ??

I agree, but I don't think you would need to do a CO design.

Sometime, when you’re really bored — really really bored — remove all the trim from the frunk and take a look at just how crowded the area surrounding the frunk is. All that stuff has to go somewhere. There’s very little room to rob from the front end outside of the frunk and none that wouldn’t affect the front end lines.

I have heard some automakers use this as an excuse for not providing a frunk ("It meant we could package to provide more interior space!"), and there might be an argument, sure. Personally, I hope they don't do it with the Mach-E.

Part of it is liking having that washable/hoseable space where you can dump dirty stuff if you have to. I find it the perfect place to keep my portable EVSE, a couple of different adapters for road trips, and some tools.

But my favorite part of the frunk is that the car looks cooler with it. The hood bulges give the driver's view a little muscle-car authenticity. It wouldn't be the same car without it.
