iOS 17 issues with CarPlay?

iPhone 14 ProMax on iOS 17 after Beta now running full official version.

Apart from the dodgy incorrect turn by turns on driver display never been better.

Now ALWAYS connects wirelessly.

Siri, or whatever it is, now really good, doesn’t misinterpret commands and messages very much at all.

Ford voice commands now appears to be jealous and gone on strike - it knows what I’m instructing it to do because when I ask for a radio station it lies that the station is unavailable when it is available by manual selection??‍

Shopping trolley syndrome strikes again - does what it likes, goes where it likes, when and how it likes?

I had to repair my phone to my profile after upgrading my 14 ProMax to 17.

I also occasionally get “connected road” showing on the steering column display.

Other than that no issues and nothing that’s a show-stopper.

This is not new with iOS 17 but I still have major issues with navigation whenever on wireless CarPlay. ie Delays, wrong location, etc.

I pretty much always plug in as a result.

Had it on the 14 Pro and now the 15 Pro so I don’t know what’s up.

Usually, this is GPS interference from wireless charging. If I move my phone off the charging pad, GPS locks almost immediately. This was an issue when I first got my MME 2 years ago that mostly resolved itself somewhere along the way but has now returned. I started noticing GPS lock issues again before I installed 17.
