This is a very minor glitch, but I noticed it and was mildly curious if anyone else has spotted this. I have noticed that the "D" PRNDL display in the binnacle sometimes glitches. Normally the letters are white for the unselected "gear" and orange for the selected "gear".

When the glitch happens, the "D" appears to float a little away from the underlying white text. This seems to suggest that, the letters are ALWAYS white and ALWAYS present, but the selected gear is drawn again over the same letter but in orange.

Being ever the engineer, I tried to reproduce to see what conditions lead to the glitch happening. I can't seem to get it to definitely reproduce, but I think it happens after you put a directional blinker on and then complete a turn OR after you push the L in the middle of the gear selector, ride in L for a small amount of time, then push L again to go back to D mode.

When the glitch happens, you can shift out of D into any other gear, and back into D and the glitch goes away.

Curious if anyone else has seen this, or since you are reading this lookout for it and post if you see it and can prove which of the actions cause it to glitch.

Yes, indeed. Except my description isn't that "it turns off", rather it creeps up a few pixels, exactly like the (currently) last comment in that thread.

Thats just the display, happens all the time if i drive more than 10 miles. Seems like you can make it happen faster if you put it in L drive down a hill then turn L back off. If you notice D is still selected but has crept a few pixels up.
Which also seems to confirm my purported reproduction method as well. At least I'm not insane. Well, maybe I am, but not because of this. ?

What are the conditions that produced said glitch? Is it repeatable?
