My GT has it, but I never notice with ac and radio on all the time.

I do remember an early 2021 model in the showroom where it was annoyingly loud.

Couldn’t hurt to bring it to the dealer to try for a swap. Or see if there is a newer one you could get in to compare the volume.

yeah - will need to try that. gotta do the roof recall too still lol scared of them ripping apart the whole dashboard to replace it hahah. lets see what happens

For what it's worth, the BMW i4 when I got it, the first thing I did was listen for that absurd buzz and it was completely silent.

I got the chance to sit in an i4 a while back, the sound deadening was impressive and yes, indeed, totally silent screens.

SSM 51689 - 2021 Mustang Mach-E (Non-GT) - Buzz Noise From The IPC

A new SSM was released that allows Job 1 2021 vehicles to get a replacement IPC for the buzz.

I bought a 2023 mach e and I have the same issue since the first day. Buzz noise coming form the IPC.

I found strange that Ford knew this issue from 2021 and it's still not fixed for a June 2023 Mach E (Manufacture date).

I have an appointement with the retailer next week, will keep you informed if it's still replacable under warranty.

They all buzz, but some louder than others.

If yours is the “normal buzz,” then replacing the screen won’t help. If it’s unusually loud, it may help.

Hi all, I wonder if my 2024 exhibits the same buzz. The buzz is coming from the IPC at the top of the steering wheel and what’s interesting I can only hear it while the car is turned off and screens are off as well. It’s very quiet amost inaudible buzz, unless you put your ear real close to the steering wheel and sit in a turned off car without any ambient sounds around. I am attaching a video, is this buzz normal ? Also it stops after some time once the car was off in a while. Note I put my iPhone real close to the IPC to catch it.

Yes normal. But no, it’s not the same buzz.

If you can only hear it with everything else off and real quiet, it’s nothing like the louder buzz from earlier models.

yep my stated noise is different I figured it’s coming from the light/dimmer switch and becomes louder once you cover the infrared screen with a palm of your hand either when you are in drive mode or in park right after driving. @azerik your noise is different from an early Mach e that you had the iPhone cluster replaced on.
