Would be cool if Ford natively supported shortcuts, it would be nice to remote start the car with the new action button in certain instances. I don’t wanna have to set up Homebridge again to do this, but I might just to get this going.

Anyone got any other ideas for the button?

The ability to use shortcuts would be a game changer. It is a no brainer and Ford should all this. Please Ford please.
I can already start the car from the Watch App which is very reliable, still don't understand why they don't do widgets/shortcuts

Yeah I used to have this one set up, but then it stopped working and was overall a pain in the butt to keep going
I think that was mainly because of the auth token, but that has been fixed in the link provided now. Hopefully it works consistently, so far so good for me!

Just remember folks, do this at your own risk. Using unauthorized apps to submit API requests can get your FordPass account disabled for TOS violations. It's highly suggested to NOT use any third party app (Apple is third party here.) to access FordPass systems.

How’s that been working? I was considering trying it with a burner ford account in case it gets locked out.
I've only been using it since yesterday, but would this really lock me out with barely an API calls? I thought Ford really cracks down if it is excessive, like that one utility or whatever that was pinging the car and the servers nonstop. That would be insane if me starting my car maybe max 10 times in a day causes it to be locked down.

My shortcuts for the car stopped working recently, I hope this will help me fix them.

Yes they will, mainly since the call is coming from an outside service. That is what they are looking for. To them it's a security issue and risk.

Just to note about "burner accounts" they are still linked to the VIN of your car, you can and likely will loose access on any account tied to the WIN. Just not a good idea until (or if) Ford does it natively.
