You are thinking of traditional hybrid batteries. That isn't the case here. The 99 kWh pack in the the Extended Range is limited to 91 kWh, with about 3.5 kWh that can't be charged at the top, and about 4.5 kWh that can't be used at the bottom.

Yes I was applying lessons from my previous plug-in hybrids.

With few charging stations in the outer areas I which I travel. I have been charging to 90% most days.

I almost always charge to 100%, have been for almost two years. Range is still 27 miles more than it’s rated for at 50,000 miles.

I have been charging to 90% as well since getting the car in Oct 22.

I have been charging at 90% since I got the car in February 2021. In the summer, I wait till it gets below 50% to plug in. In winter, I plug every day. From time to time, I charge to 100%.
I have 20,645 km.

Been charging to AC Level 2 to 90% since I bought in 10/21 and my battery SoH is at 99.5% after almost 13k miles.

What is battery SoH?

State of Health. It is a measure of how much the battery capacity has degraded. My battery SoH is 92%, which means my 91 kWh capacity is now reduced to 84 kWh.
