Issue with Sync 4 - Keep getting voice activated by itself

Hi,

anyone have Sync getting continously activated for nothing? My car is setupped in French, I dunno if it change anything, but Every ride I do (simple 10 min ride), SYNC get voice activated for nothing. No one speak in the car, nothing.

I thought it could be triggered by the Radio, so it triggered by itself while listening to a song... I replayed the song... but could not reproduce the issues at the exact same lyric.

It work well when I want to activate it myself...

If no one else have the issues, I should take a tour to my Ford dealer I guess.

That's a feature, along with anything self-driving, I'll not be turning on.

It did happen to me yesterday. Not sure why. I may turn off the option to say "hey ford" and see if that helps. I usually just activate by pushing the steering wheel button anyway.

Mine is set to hey Ford and never triggers inadvertently. I also only use the push button anyway when I do use it.

I thought OK Ford would be good. I guess we say OK or something similar too often. We switched to Hello Ford -- far less accidental activation now.

I originally had it as "ok ford" and the radio/podcasts definitely will trigger it. I had one podcast that would trigger it, which stopped playback of the podcast. I would restart the podcast, which would always cue up the same 10 seconds and then the car thought the wakeup command happened again. After 3 times I shut the damn wakeword off and have to press the button now to say voice commands. I like that better anyway

Set it for a longer trigger phrase. I found OK FOrd sync good enough.

Yes, it happens in my MME. Just suddenly asks me to "try again". I do use the "ok Ford" phrase, but I really don't think it has anything to do with it since I've had it happen when it's quiet in the car.
