I am in the camp of not needing brake lights in all light regen situations. It seems logic can be build it where the brake lights come up if the speed of regen deceleration is greater than when you lift off the gas on an ICE. I’m not sure what the deceleration rate is for an ICE but I know I can ease up on my pedal to lightly and gradually decrease my speed like an ICE vehicle.

Mine does not.

I didn't mean they come on when you lift off the gas in 2PD, I meant that the car decelerates (or slows acceleration, as the case may be) when you lift off the gas. Which is not different from 1PD - 1PD just slows more.
