I think there might be some miscommunication or poor communication on behalf of the dealer. If @WyldStallyn was able to pull the DTC from FDRS then they likely had to have triaged the vehicle. The car will report the DTC for a bad HVBJB instantly to PTS, but the DTC provided here was the results of a self test performed which had to be done with a physical connection. Unless there's something new that I don't know about, I've only seen Self Test DTCs in FDRS through physical connections.
Good point, maybe they did scan it yesterday. The codes also go out OTA to the servers when the vehicle is driven. If the vehicle doesn’t drive the codes don’t usually go out and would have to be scanned manually. After the recall updates the codes should go out OTA and the dealer should be able to see them remotely since you are able to drive.

Dealership has been waiting over two weeks for a new LVB to continue diagnosing.
Just to be clear, this isn't for the case in this thread.... but this is flat our dumb. Just hook up a battery maintainer/charger to it and continue on. Whoever had this VIN I would tell them to get a case started with the BEV team at Ford. That dealer needs a little hand holding.

They did open a case but no progress. After my post a minute ago I received a request for the VIN to get them some help.

I have another person who sent me their VIN today. Same stuck contactor DTC. LVB battery died while they were diagnosing. Dealership has been waiting over two weeks for a new LVB to continue diagnosing.
That’s another sore spot with me, the battery can easily be connected to a battery charger or power supply to finish diagnosis. The 12V battery is probably fine and just needs a recharge. Maybe the dealers don’t think there is a place to connect a battery charger since it’s hidden under the cover? Or they think it’s some special battery they don’t have the equipment to charge? Who knows.

All I can say is wow... If a dealer can't even figure out they can hook up a battery charger to the car to continue diagnosis, I don't know how much confidence I would have to actually have them fix the car. Even before BEVs there was a 12v system that needed the charger hooked up to work on the car if it was going to be "on" in the shop for any amount of time.

Just for clarification - the dealer with my car did charge the 12V battery immediately and was able to get the codes immediately. I believe WyldStallyn was clear about that, but I want to be sure there is no confusion about my case with regard to the 12V battery.

Yes. It looks like they have been doing a good job diagnosing and getting ready to replace the HVBJB. The LVB issue is for someone else.

Yeah sorry. I tried to make that clear when I hijacked your thread for a brief second to talk about someone else. My bad!

I just gotta say, I know now where to tow Mach N Cheese if I break down along I-5. I take back all that smack I was talking about this dealer last night!

It's nice to see dealers learning and taking the initiative to improve the customer experience.

Maybe this crowd is better for backyard BBQs, HORSE poker and horseshoes and not so much for full-on saloon brawls. There really is a practical and reasonable core to this forum. Refreshing, actually.

Surely, you jest! We are impractical, reactionary fools! Well, except for those of us on 4 legs. ??

I agree it looks like they figured it out quickly. But how are their ? ?
They probably serve them with less attitude than they do in Alhambra.

I once won a frisbee contest with a standard poodle that had purple bows and purple toes. Then, I put her in the back of a jacked up black truck and drove home. But, we can all pretend to be hooligans and stomp our feet when needed too. Right?
