Actually, the heat is a two-part function. Amps and resistance. The current doesn't make any heat with a low enough resistance. It's the combination or R-resistance and I-current.
Correct. I left it out because resistance is innate to any material and, in the case of DC, It's indirectly included when I mentioned cable specifications (i.e. thickness). ?

Yes those must be old and the ones I used must be newer. Interestingly the 150s aren't even made anymore (replaced by 175kW) but EA is still throwing a 150kW sticker on them. The car data appears to be reported correctly. Here's the current datasheet:

None of these Terra units are installed in Arizona, at least that I am aware of. EA made a big push in our state back in 2018/2019 with the really old ABB units. Today, almost all of the newer installations are with the Signet units.

Even more interesting is that the really old ones had a rating of 400A, so the only way to get 350kw was to be charging at 900v. I have seen the insides of these dispensers, and there is really not much to them. They could upgrade the power supplies and certainly increase the current.

They are definitely using ABB in California on newer installs. The station I used today was installed about 1 year ago. The majority of ours, that I've seen, are ABB. We do have a few newer locations that have the latest Signet units, paired with Tesla Power Packs, that are honestly rock solid and some of the best I've used.
