Correct. I left it out because resistance is innate to any material and, in the case of DC, It's indirectly included when I mentioned cable specifications (i.e. thickness). ?Actually, the heat is a two-part function. Amps and resistance. The current doesn't make any heat with a low enough resistance. It's the combination or R-resistance and I-current.
