I clicked on the link and looked at the search results. One was powertrain and another had to do with brakes. Mine says 12v battery, to keep it from draining. Could there be multiple different 10.2.0 updates depending on the country your from or year and model? Here are a few of the existing discussions:

This update isn't related to any recall.

2024 Select w/ 72 kWh LFP packWhat year and model do you have?
Ford's packages in the number series like 10.x may have multiple module updates and operate differently in different years/trims. That's different from the single-module updates like the IPC-25.7.46 that just came through, which just updates the Instrument Panel Cluster. What year and model do you have?
I got that 10.2 update on May 31. 12v, DC fast charging and brake feel. Others got that update early May late April. I think it just rolls out in waves.I’m part of the Early Access Program and just got this software update last night. Could![]()
this be related to the recall? It has to do with the 12v battery not draining so if that’s the case then the door locks would still work.![]()
Are you on Ford’s Early Access Program? If not then there is no way this update is the same as yours and you got it before me. Early Access means before anyone else gets it, like iOS Developer/Public beta releases. This one is 12v battery only and nothing to do with one-pedal braking and/or brakes. Since this beta release the stop sale (recall) has now been lifted so it must have something to do with that.I got that 10.2 update on May 31. 12v, DC fast charging and brake feel. I beg to differ. Here is Ford’s explanation on Early Access Program…LOL, that's not how Fords EA program works...at least not in my experience. I've been EA since it started here and have typically been behind others by a few weeks and as much as 6mos or more.

Early Access members are part of an engaged community of Ford owners who get early access to software updates and sneak peeks at beta-level software in exchange for giving feedback. The insights and opinions they share are essential to developing and improving
Ford products. If you decide to join our community of early adopters, we simply ask for your active participation and that you follow our guidelines.
Have you regularly engaged with Ford, responding to their input requests after OTA updates? If not, you may have been either de-prioritized or removed from EAP.Not arguing their definition of the program. Just saying my experience has been different
