I noticed another update for the GWM in FDRS tonight. I expect an APIM update after I apply it. There seems to be a lot of GWM/APIM updates since the beginning of September.

On September 2 I updated GSM/GWM/APIM. It just updated existing GWM and APIM applications including Blue Cruise expiration date.

The two powerups in September updated GWM/APIM with several new applications.

I updated the door and powertrain modules three days ago.

So today I got 3.5.2 in the morning and then got the charging update in the afternoon. For most of the day my phone would not stay connected to the car, kept going in and out and would not connect Carplay. Ford needs to figure out how to download these over Wi-Fi at night.

I got 3.5.2 a little while ago but no actual changes showed up so looks like my update is stuck in a limbo mode… great. Hopefully 3.5.3 corrects the issue.
Nothing is changed with 3.5.2. It’s just a prep for 3.5.3

What is the charging update?
22-PU0603-DC-CHG. Someone mentioned it fixes issues with EVGO chargers, but I have never had an issue with those.

Those 2 OTAS installed 3 hours apart, must be a record for Ford.

It shouldn't, believe that bug was fixed, also that was usually with updates that touched the OBCC which are typically inhibit updates, this is just APIM
This appears to be the case. My car is plugged in and FP says "plugged in at home and waiting to charge at 11 pm".

Nice to see they fixed the issue of erased settings. 👍

Ford Mustang Mach-E 2021MY Just Got Software Update 3.5.2 85749996-3CF0-4107-B050-48DCD5ABEF86

This is the first time I’ve installed 2 OTA updates in one day. The DC update downloaded yesterday and installed overnight this morning, then 3.5.2 this afternoon.

Bring on 3.5.3, and 3.5.3.3!

There are more updates coming? I was hoping this would be it for a while....

3.5.3 and 3.5.3.3 are in EA testing. From the recent posts it sounds like 3.5.3 has a user profile bug, so hopefully that gets fixed before the full rollout.

Okay cool. I didn't notice anything changed or more importantly.....no consequences so that is a pleasant surprise. It said something about Alexa but she must be buried in the Sync menu somewhere because I didn't see anything different. Which is fine. I don't really know her and we don't have anything to talk about anyway. :)

3.5.2 is just a gateway module update, the cars router, so nothing visibly different. 3.5.3 updates the APIM, or Sync, so that’s when you’ll see some changes.

Alexa will come in a later version though, these are just preps for her arrival. Rolling out the red carpet if you will.

Rolling out the red carpet if you will.
This thread desperately needs another tangent. And so the unrolling proceeds . . . Why is the carpet red?

https://www.bbc.com/culture/article/20160222-where-does-the-red-carpet-come-from

“Scarlet was among the most prized dyes as it was the most difficult to make and the most expensive.” Cochineal or carmine dye was – and still is – made from the cochineal scale insect and was used in the 15th Century by the Aztec and Maya people in north and central America for colouring fabrics. By the 17th Century cochineal dye was a hugely valued export.
