I have a MME 2023 Ca Rt 1 key fob in a Vonetti alpha shield case that I want to hide inside the car. Do I need to put the fob in ?battery saver? mode? If there is such a thing please guide me.
Thanks

There is no battery saver mode for the key. I took the batteries out of my keys. They are in plastic bags and the bags are stored with the keys. It’s a simple matter to reinstall the batteries should I need a key (such as yesterday morning when I had to drop my car off at the dealer for HVBJB service). ??

as @HuntingPudel notes, just take the battery out. especially if you're storing a key in your car - RF shielding bags can still leak signals. hide the key in one location and the battery somewhere else.
