keyless frustration

Decided I should try keyless entry, can’t find card with code but fortunately saved code on I phone locked car put in code nothing
Wondered if I saved code properly tried two fob method no factory code appeared .
Frustrated tried to set up iphone as key but this option does not appear on app or on car
Is this disabled for UK ? or is it just me

Phone as a key is only in US. Check the door code on the body control module label. It’s in the passenger footwell.

This is an example of the label on the body control module that Dave mentioned above where you will find your 7 digit code to unlock your car.

As we are unable to use phone as key in UK I guess using code to start won't work either

Unlocking the door with the factory code or a coded you programmed would work but programming a backup start code requires PAAK to set it up.

I live I Denmark (a part of Europe that Trump is gizzling for) and my iPhone 13 works perfectly as a key.

I believe it’s a UK limitation. You may recall that the UK is not part of Europe ??

The UK has insurance restrictions that prevent or prohibit the use of PAAK. Elsewhere in Europe or the Eurozone it isn’t an issue..

The pevious owners code may still be active, dont know how reset that.

User codes have no affect on the factory code.

You can clear all personal codes by following the steps below:

1. Enter the factory-set five or seven digit code on your keypad..
2. Press and release 1•2 within five seconds.
3. Press and hold 1•2 for two seconds. You must do this within five seconds of completing step 2.
4. All personal codes are now erased and only the factory-set five or seven digit code will work.
