What does the OEM part cost from Ford? Does it fit the non-GT emblem relief?

It’s over $600 and it does not fit the non GT grill. The standard grill has an indent that the emblem fits in from the front. The GT has a cut out that the logo fills from behind.

If you need to make a new part, go for it, but it has to be cheap enough to be an impulse buy.

Different animal. This is a Kickstarter campaign. Ford could send a letter to Kickstarter and kill it.

AOSK who has posted on here has tons of stuff, fully using the Mustang logo. I'm sure they are not authorized by Ford, and no one has come after them. Their whole cup holder inserts have the Mustang logo everywhere. Tons of 3rd party accessories out there for ICE Mustangs.

I didn't include it at that level because it is already so low, but I'd be happy to support anyone needing some additional help. I also got to thinking that as this is a Mach-E community project, there will be several other community members ready to help with any questions.

Sounds like it’s just going to be two wires and a fuse tap. I wouldn’t worry too much about instal issues tbh.

I have no idea what’s a fuse tap is ?
I’m sure I’ll learn though.

Keeping this thread active. I’m supporting the kickstarter here. I’m in for $200. This could be the answer the the wife getting a lighted pony without doing everything I did to my emblem. And if it works, I’ll probably try to get another and replace my EL wire outline.

Pledged. Unfortunately I don’t think they’ve shipped enough of these cars yet for this type of product. By the end of the year there should be almost 3 times as many and this would much more easily be funded.

No one has come after them because they don’t operate in the US.

I am kinda surprised Ford hasn’t at least said something on the forum though. We know they monitor it and I’m about 80% sure they actually run this (and the Lightning) forum.
