Lock Icon Light on Door Panels

Was trying to search could not find anything. Does your lock Icon light on the door panels stay on after you lock the car? In the dark/night I was looking in and saw that little light on above the lock symbol.

It stays on for a bit, but then turns off.

I never noticed this before, but now that I am checking it out, the short answer is yes. Normally I am always carrying my phone, so the car is lighting up as I approach. So many lights are on.

This morning I went into the garage without my phone. The car was unlocked, so no light of course. I then locked the car using the door switch, and closed the door. All the lights stayed on for 10-20 seconds, and then everything turned off except the lock LEDs and the USB LEDs in the console.

I waited about five minutes and checked again - the lock LEDs and USB LEDs had turned off. So not sure exactly how long they stay on, but around 2-4 minutes.
