I hope it is that simple. It would be nice to have it back. More anxious about paying out for a rental to get to work this coming week. Hope to hear some good news today. I would be interested to read that thread on the pinched wires or rodent issues. Thanks for the update.

Update:
  1. This past Tuesday the dealer forced their way into the Mach E.
  2. Replaced the 12V battery and it drained within 1/2 hour.
  3. They discovered a 25 amp draw on the battery.
  4. Used thermal imaging on the battery pack and discovered no hotspots.
  5. Are in process of tracing the 25 amp draw to correct the issue.
  6. At day 9 of my 10 day rental period under warranty, hoping for resolution by tomorrow so we don't have to start paying for a rental ourselves.
Has anyone had their Mach E in the shop for a longer period of time? Is Ford flexible in providing extended warranty coverage for rental vehicle while in shop under warranty? If so, some feedback on the request or proper channel to address the issue if needed.

It has been frustrating. The Mach E has been in the dealers hands since 11/16/23 and they have only taken the 12V battery out, replaced it and have been tracing a 25 amp draw off the 12V battery for 5 days??? I know I am not the only car in the shop and understand there is an order of progress in service shops, but this seems ridiculous. I can only imagine, but would assume there are only so many 25 amp draws on that battery or possible combinations that come out to 25 amps. My ignorance on the small battery electrical system makes it hard for me to understand.

Thanks for all your help and feedback.
Any information on how they forced their way in?

I haven't asked that question yet. I may go to the dealer today for some in person feedback. My simple guess would be wedge in door frame and some type of device to manually unlock through interior handle pull... if that is even a thing.

That would most likely be it. Use an air wedge to pry the window frame out a little, then insert a slender pulling device to grasp and pull on the door release from the inside. ??

Also very interested in finding out what they find that’s the culprit for your battery drain. ?‍♂?

A 25A drain should be causing trouble codes and/or major module communication issues that show up on the scanning tool. Every once in a while you'll get a module that won't go to sleep and keeps the CAN bus awake so that all the modules stay on and draw power. That one can be extremely difficult to troubleshoot because you have to go around unplugging modules until you find the one that's keeping things awake.

Wouldn't it be easier to isolate the load using the fuse boxes first? Just pull fuses until the draw stops? I can't imagine the amount of digging required to pull individual modules...

Quick update.
Still in shop. Ford is covering rental unit for duration. Ford sent an BEV expert from their team out to try and figure it out.
The 'Battery plugged in, not charging' went away this morning and got the first current update time stamp for the past 2 weeks. Also got a notification from the app that said 'battery charger fault, car unplugged', I am guessing that is what cleared the error on the app.
So weird for this error to be there at all, the car was not plugged in at time of incident.
Hopefully some good news in the next day or two.

They have identified the issue.

From my dealer:
"One of the harnesses on the high voltage battery is causing the issue, it's three days out."

Hope that is the solution.

Final diagnosis was rodent chewed through main battery wire harness and connectors.

That would be the low voltage connector on the battery pack. Potentially took out the HS1 CAN bus (powertrain modules) and ability to switch on high voltage. Quite an efficient way to disable your whole car. Now we have to know if you caught the little devil.
