Recently I've noticed a very annoying behavior when playing music in Android Auto. When I tell it to advance to the next song, either via the steering wheel or Infotainment screen, there's a delay of exactly 6 seconds until it advances to the next song. However, the song title changes and the album art changes immediately, they don't wait for the 6 seconds. This is new behavior and very distracting. Anyone else see this? Is there a solution?

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Android Auto version 8.4.124244-release.daily. Power Up 3.5.3.3.

I've been having the same thing lately. I've had this in the past too and it resolved itself so I think it may have been a Google update.

Also running S22 Ultra.

I observe a similar concern with podcasts played through Android Auto. Not on every drive, but on a significant number since Power-Up 3.5.3 and later.

My solution is to pause playback. Wait for the audio to stop playing (about five or six seconds). Then resume. This seems to fix it for the rest of the drive.
