Longest wait times?

I was just wondering what some of the longer wait times people have had. I ordered a Premium AWD and I am at 220 days with no production date set. Anyone been waiting longer? Trying to gauge how long I can expect to wait (most people I've seen have come quicker).

2 years from initial reservation to delivery for my GTPE, so have patience . But about 3.5 months between actual order and delivery (6/30/21 - 10/15/21), if that helps. Included a 2 week chip hold. Don't be afraid to annoy your dealer for status. They don't have anything else to do with nearly empty lots.

I feel your pain. We ordered June 3, 2021. FINALLY picked up last week (May 17, 2022).
My now-retired mechanic regrets not advising us to order two, one to keep and one to sell at a crazy high price!

That is excessive, I'd be reaching out to your dealer to make sure there aren't any holds on your order preventing it from being scheduled. If they didn't add the required Active Park Assist-Prep Kit (16H) option to your order in March it has cost you an extra 2-3 months. Make sure they pull it up in their system and verify it has unscheduled/clean status.

Most orders take 2-6 months to schedule, you're past that so there might something wrong, or your dealer has no allocations left.

I placed an order for a ER RWD CART1 on Nov 28 (177 days ago). I changed it to AWD in February, and I think that reset my spot in line. It has not been scheduled yet.

Correct, changing drive or trim will reset your wait.

Correct, changing drive or trim will reset your wait.

I was going to add the glass roof to my GT, but my dealer says it will delay the production...even though I don't have a production date scheduled yet. I'm not sure my dealer has a clue...

Did you order through a dealer or on the Ford website? I ordered on the website and it says "order in progress" at the top, which makes me wonder if my dealer processed my order correctly (I had to select a dealer even though I placed the order online).

It would have been nice if the dealership had told me that before I did it. I hate them so much. They have been absolutely awful.

Glad I ended up paying a markup and buying something else. Suddenly, I don’t care about this order. I hope it takes forever. The longer it takes, the more likely everyone else’s cars get made sooner I’ve considered asking them if they can take that park assist prep kit off it just to make sure it can’t get built.

Scheduled for production this week but who really knows....

It should look something like this for a long time. I don't think "#2 place order" completes until production is scheduled.
