My newly installed, hardwired Juicebox 40 is very loose in its bracket, which is attached to the wall. Locking it to the bracket with the included key makes no difference. The electrician who installed it says this is typical for the Juicebox. Anyone else seen this issue — and did you figure out a DIY solution, or are you just living with it? Makes this device seem cheaply made.

Mine is very secure. There are a couple of screws in the back of the juicebox and the heads of those screws fit into grooves in the bracket. It sounds like you need to tighten the screws on the back of the juicebox to provide just enough clearance to slide into the brackets and not more. (The manual says 2mm out.) So unlock it, slide the juicebox out, tighten the screws some and try sliding it back into the bracket, until you find the sweet spot where the screws just barely clear the bracket and don't rattle around.

All I can say is mine is very secure too. Hopefully sidr's recommendation does the trick for you.

I have 2 Juice Box 40's and i don't have this issue. Very secure. Sidr is probably right. Might just need some minor tightening.

Success! Thank you, @sidr It took me a few tries, but I’ve tightened the screws as you suggested and that did the trick. Appreciate your help! Next time, I guess I’ll read the manual ?

There are two screws on the back of the unit where it attaches to the bracket. Take the unit off, tighten a little at a time as you remount until it’s snug.
If you tighten too much it won’t catch on the bracket, back it off a bit.

Edit: What @sidr said. ?

Yep, that’s what was suggested and it did the trick. Thank you!

I have no problem with the Juicebox being loose in the bracket. It’s been a year and a half and my installation and operation of the Juicebox 40 has been trouble free.

The electrician missed tightening the two screws to make it snug in its bracket. I’ve let him know for future installs. It’s all good now, with the help of @sidr ?
