I'm in the DC area and keep seeing a wrapped flouro green GTPE that has been dropped perfectly. Anyone know options to drop the GTPE (magnaride?). TIA!

@markboris had an air suspension in his GT-PE for a while. Other than that, there’s the aftermarket spring route and modification of the stock springs (cutting or reducing the free height) can also be done. ??

The main reason I tried air suspension was to improve the ride however I also was looking for a slightly lower stance. After returning back to the stock suspension, I replaced the springs with H&R lowering springs which didn't drop the car much, about 3/4" but that is what I wanted. I don't recommend them if you want to drop it more. Between lowering it that little bit and running slightly taller tires, I got the look I was going for, (less wheel well gap).

If you really want to drop the height, a good adjustable height suspension like the KW V3 coilovers would be the ticket but then you would loose the mag ride shocks and doubt you be happy with the way it rides after that.

What my car looks like at the moment with the H&R lowering springs and 29" tall tires.

Thanks Will. Had it custom painted in gloss black and Iconic Silver to match the body color. Not a fan of the pony emblem in the rear and I don't consider it a real GT model so went with the Ford oval. If I get a chance, I may have the holes filled and painted under the emblem and can eliminate it all together which is what I really wanted to do.
