Lugnut Covers?

I asked the wife about putting black lugs on her car. She said they will just get dinged u and asked about covers. Anyone bought lug nut caps?

What is she running into that would ding the lugs? If the wheel is surviving now, so will the new lugs.

Weird comment but I’ll bite. Lugs come on and off for a variety of reasons. That’s her concern. Not sure if you know that about cars or not.

Amazon carries a variety of lug nut covers. I didn't look closer than a quick search, though. Hopefully, someone who's actually used covers will chime in.

I have not had a dinged lug in so long I can't remember.
I haven't had swollen nuts (both a big complaint on Ford lugs AND a body trait) ever.

I tell the Discount Tire techs - please slow down and don't dent my wheels, or you'll be buying me new ones.
