Got a call yesterday morning that my grabber blue Mach drop had arrived 10 days early (early from its new date after missing the initial date). Picked it up in the evening and went through a horrible four hour experience. The dealer tried to cheat/squeeze us of thousands of dollars. I went in knowing exactly all the prices and percentages and yet they still lied to my face and tried to use altered “official” Ford documents to prove it. At first I was shown the official Ford Options program that was 6.9% with no additional incentives. Then they said the California clean air rebate was the incentive. Numerous back and forth until they finally agreed to 2.25% with $2500 incentive. Then they tacked on nearly $3900 for maintenance (that includes oil changes) and some interior/exterior protection (which they claimed as already installed). It was a nightmare and my blood was boiling. Finally in the end they released their grips and we signed the papers. They will get their commission and I was happy with the final numbers.

The car is even more amazing in person. It’s so comfortable and the drive experience is stunning. I’m a happy camper.

In the short few drives I’ve made, I’ve been stopped multiple times by people asking about it and I had a neighbor I never spoke to come and ask a million questions. The grabber blue seems to really turn some heads.

Oh and if you have a trade in, call Carvana!! They offered me $12,600 for my 2014 BMW i3 (I was hoping for $10k) and the dealer only offered me $5k.

I was a touch P.O.ed. My original Premium was delivered on Saturday, even though it was built and shipped a couple of days after my Mach Drop. The FE was still touring our nation, it seems. This morning emailed my dealer for status. He responded: " It made it in last night, had a small recall that has been completed, it will be charged up today and ready for delivery by tomorrow, Please let me know when you would like to set up the delivery appointment"?

So, picking it up next Tuesday. Life is good?

My dealer just sent me a calendar appointment for my Tuesday delivery. They may or may not be the best dealer in town, but a least they minimize unnecessary dipshittery that some of the forum members have had to put up with.

Congrats - and that dealer - well you got it taken care of but think of what they would have done to a less informed buyer

My Drop finally made it to the Argentine Ramp. There were four cars in the same rail car that were built ~10k cars later! One of them is Vin #...20,***. That's the first 20k VIN I've seen... progress.

10 days +/- and finally be riding the red pony.

It's here!!! Oh man. Thought it was lost to the QC void. Built 1/9, shipped 1/26, but missed original ETA of 2/26. Finally saw some movement on palsapp last week, and got the call from my dealer last night. Now to be patient while they finish the predelivery inspection. Got a laundry list of accessories (extra fob, teslatap) and now finally, hopefully, the car itself!

Sidenote - my original premium order remained in my dealer's system, and I just got an email that it shipped too. Mach Drop ended up beating my original order by only a month, assuming the ETA holds.

Well more bad news. It turns out that the dealer was confused and my FE had not arrived after all. According to Vehicle Visibility it got unloaded from the train in Phoenix. I took the opportunity to review the numbers with them. Still more bad news. They attempted to load up the price with a bunch of useless crap, like nitrogen, paint protection, window tinting, etc. to the tune of $1,500. I told them to take that off, since I didn't request it. They didn't have a problem with that or the X-Plan pricing. But then they had $500 Doc fee. Had them lower it to $100. No problem. Then they wanted to charge me $1,000 for VLT. In AZ, EV VLT is lowered to 4%. He had to make several phone calls to confirm that. Next was the Ford Options struggle. As expected, he struggled to understand that, and after that, several more phone calls and 2 more hours, before he was able to to produce a correct pricing. He really struggled with idea of residual on a financing contract. Finally, trade-in discussion. They offered $5,800 for my C-Max. I already had a quote for $9,600, $9,000, and $8,600 from Carvana, CarMax, and Vroom. So I won't be doing trade-in.

I also got them to commit to program my 2nd FOB (I already acquired it) and remove frunk divider for free. All in all not a total waste of time.

Also put in a quick test drive in my original Premium (RWD EX) order. It was plenty quick for me, but the FE with AWD will be even faster.

My dealer is Camelback Ford in Phoenix. Not bad as dealers go, but you still have to watch out for all the fees. Going in on a Tuesday, when they don't have too many customers, helped.

Are Mach-E GT's being delivered anywhere yet?
If not, what is the current thinking on GT releases?

You're in the wrong thread. Ford is expected to open order book for GTs in April. Deliveries should be late summer, but more realistically autumn. If you are thinking, you can place a reservation on Ford's site. This would be a good time to vet your dealer. Get him to commit to no ADM, X-Plan acceptance, etc.

OK WTH? My frustration level just hit 11 (I'm sure it will pass). My RR FE just went from a 4-4 delivery to a 5-6 delivery.
Has anyone else seen a new delay like this? It just changed late last night.
