I am in the last 6 months of my Mach-E lease. Overall, the car has been great. Yes, there have been some recalls, and the occasional " Why have you told me the speed limit is 100mph in a 60 mph zone? " But I have enjoyed having it and the adventures we have done together.
Now the downside: I wish I had gone for the longer-range versions. The range, especially when on motorways, is a little frustrating, and the charging speed too, but some of that is still down to the EV charging network and my right foot. I was thinking about leasing another Mach-E, and I would have gone for the GT version, only to find it's no longer on the Ford website, and the only cars available to lease are current stock. Has anyone else noticed that the GT seems to have disappeared?
So I am now having to look at the Audi Q6 E-Tron, BMW iX3, and the Mercedes GLC as alternatives instead, which I am honestly finding rather sad. Looks like Ford is running the Mach-E down for the Explorer and CapriSun.
Sorry for this bit of a moan, but I feel rather sad as the Mach-E is one of the better-looking EVs out there; most are rather boxy and boring. I will miss this companion; I hope whoever owns it next gets just as much enjoyment.
