We have 18,000 miles on our Mach-E, and no chips on the hood. Do you drive behind trucks a lot? Gravel roads?

Chips on your hood have more to do with driving environment than build quality.

Did you read the post. 20 years of driving no chips. 6 months of driving several chips. That's poor build quality. Or do you think paint isn't a quality of the build???
There is zero chance this is an accurate statement. I've owned 30 vehicles, totally different makes and models, years, etc and every single one will get chips in the same way and for the same reasons.

Some may get them easier than others...like Subarus.

But otherwise, you failing to pay attention before doesn't mean...anything.

I have taken a lot of road trips in both of mine 2021 Premium and 2022 GTPE and have not had any stone chips. I've taken mine in summer and in winter conditions with gravel and salt.

Lol you're complaining about paint? 😂 I would kill to have paint chips instead my '23 premium is at the dealership who then proceed to put over 200 miles on my new car trying to figure out why I completely lost power twice in 2 days.

Hit me up when you actually have an issue. 😂
Careful what you ask for. I've had both. 6 weeks total time in the shop AND paint chips.. Luckily they've seemed to have sorted out the issues but now I have a splattered mess I have to deal with. It's especially bad on black paint.
