All things considered.....I am enjoying my Mach-E quite a bit and glad Ford brought it to market. I think they will sell these as fast as they can build them during the next 12-18 months. However, the competition is good at copying a successful design so the Mach-E will need to evolve in order to stay ahead of the pack.
Just in case anyone with Ford's design and engineering is browsing these forums then I have a few suggestions for consideration.
Minor things really. But would make for a more complete vehicle in my opinion....

- Door handles should illuminate at night. Just a small line of light will be sufficient. Almost every one of my nighttime passengers was unable to find the handles when I parked. It wasn't until I opened my door then they hunted or found the handle for themselves.
- Rear passengers should have their own fan speed control for the HVAC. The panoramic roof is basically for the rear passengers and they get more of the heat compared to the front passengers. I already have rear passengers complaining about the cabin temperature in back while the front passengers are comfortable. Front passengers have plenty of air flow but rear passengers really don't have very much. Not idea for a 4 door passenger vehicle.
- Steering wheel controls really aren't that great on the right side of the wheel. After nearly 5000 miles behind the wheel so far and I still struggle with the controls on the right side. My previous vehicle (Focus Electric) has steering wheel controls that I could operate without looking because they were designed in such a way that my thumb could find home and then navigate easily from there. Up, down, left right were all very tactile and could be operated without needing to glance down. This is something that I noticed about the Mach-E right away and decided to give it a chance to see if I could adapt. I think Ford took a step backwards in this area so hopefully the next generation of wheel controls can be improved and/or updated.
