Hi, college student here, wanting to gauge this forum's Mach-E owners' preferences and satisfaction with the Sync4A interface.
Would like your thoughts and feedback, so I can improve on it for a class project:

That subject matter ought to draw plenty of ire!

But not from me. I remember not too long ago how little an OEM native onboard system had to offer. And of course at my age I grew up with vehicles that had AM/FM with nothing more than a center speaker in the dash.

Sync4 in both my F150 and Mach-E are like science fiction coming true, in that context.

Can it be a little buggy at times? Sure. But for the most part I have become one with it and it serves every request that I have of it.

Specifically, I'm a self imposed hands-free driver. I do NOT mess with my phone while driving.
So Sync4 allows me to monitor my corporate email, in case something requiring immediate attention pops up. Alexa is at my beck&call for whatever music I'm in the mood for. (Alexa, play music by Robert Plant ?)
Or "Alexa, route me to Jimmy Changas in Pearland Texas."

I think my only serious complaint in the Mach-E is the poor use of that monsterously large screen real estate. It's so poorly leveraged that it comes across as trying to be a Tesla copycat without even coming close to being worthy.

Again, especially in the Mach-E, Ford could provide so much more EV-savvy information than they currently do.

So how's that for getting a start on what you are looking for? Good luck on the project.
