This. Not all Supercharger stations are open to non Tesla cars. None of the V2 units server ever will be available to non Teslas and not all V3 stations are open to non Tesla vehicles. To determine which are you need to use the proper filters in the Tesla app or use the charging app in the car,

Where is here? Not all Tesla SC are compatible. Even if it had 25 at the location you were at if they were not V3 or V4 or the site was restricted to Tesla only it wouldn’t work.

I'd like to add that PlugShare will show you if a Tesla station is compatible with non-Teslas. I've been using it to play my next road trip and scout for compatible charging stations.

Using the Tesla adapter was easy. Be sure is a Supercharger station. Ultra fast one. My Ford Pass worked without hiccups. I didn't have to use Tesla app.

I have the adaptor that Ford sent me, I tried to charge via the Tesla App, did not work...I'll try Ford Pass app next.....(I thought one had to use the tesla app)

I was simply stating that this location is compatible and requires an adapter. Any issue charging is likely the owner doing something wrong. That process has already been explained earlier.

I tried to use adaptor that Ford provided for Tesla Fast chargers, cannot get it to work... tried first initiating Tesla app, then plugging in, and then also the other way around, nothing happens...Tesla app says choose location and charger station #, did all this..nothing worked.

Two things about using the NACS adapter:

1. I received 2 free NACS adapters for my '23 Mach E about 1 week apart from each other (after waiting more than a year after I had placed the order). When I called Ford to ask what to do with the extra adapter, they told me that they learned that the first one they sent me wouldn't work, so they sent me the 2nd one. I took them both to a Tesla Supercharger and found that, indeed, one worked and the other didn't.

2. The adapter I received only works on Tesla chargers that are rated at 250KW and 350 KW. It won't work on chargers with lower KW ratings, and you can't tell what the rating of a charger is by looking at it (there aren't labels on any of the chargers near me).

BTW - I charged at a 250KW charger, but the charging rate was only 85KW. This wasn't a problem for me at the time, but you need to know that you won't necessarily get the nominal charging rate at a Tesla Supercharger.

Pro tip: non-compatible version 2 superchargers have a silver ring between the cable and connector. Version 3/4 superchargers are compatible and do not have the silver ring.
