If you're all about weight savings and reducing rotating mass here is another great addition. I custom designed my Exhibitions Of Speed (EOS) titanium lug nuts around the Mustang platform as a quality component to add aesthetics, performance and reduce weight.

Most have noticed the OEM lug nuts are quite heavy and often do not fit into the lug nut recess of many aftermarket wheels. The OEM pieces are designed as an open ended lug nut with a chrome cap that is prone to heat swell and distortion. This titanium setup eliminates all those problems.

These EOS pieces come in at $485 shipped for the set and have some on hand to ship now. Below are some of the benefits and photos.

  • Crafted in the US from the finest grade 6 titanium (6Al-4V)
  • Higher tolerance to heat swelling and distortion
  • 19mm Hex Head design reduces the need for speciality sockets
  • Increased lug nut recess clearance
  • OEM 60 degree conical head for proper lug nut seat engagement
  • 50% weight reduction over OEM
  • Corrosion resistant natural titanium finish
  • Open ended design to work with various stud lengths
  • Black lug nut covers optional for the closed ended look
  • Optional longer front lug nut for wheels with deeper lug nut recesses

From a material science standpoint I love titanium. One of the best metals there is.

Would be nice to see a pic of these installed on a MachE wheel if you have it.

Indeed, I love working with it as well. It's just so damned expensive. I will have some on a Mach E here soon. I have been building these for the past few years for the Shelby GT350 and GT500 also. They look so good.

Hey Jon, I see Terrance replied back to you but I thought I'd throw in my two cents. While I don't have these lug nuts on my Mach-E yet (they are on order) below is what they look like on my ICE Mustang. I've had them for a couple of years now and the best thing I like is the way they fit and look. The weight savings was an added bonus. The custom wheels on the GT500 have an open middle section so the lug nuts are visible all around and look very cool. The custom wheels on my Mach-E have recessed holes where the lug nuts go so they won't be as visible.

On another note, I'm tired of the all black wheel look on my silver Mach-E so changing their look. Going to have the face machined so it will be bright aluminum and the titanium lug nuts should complement it. In about a month I'll post the new wheel look with the titanium lug nuts.
