$7500 off MSRP
$7500 more if we finance at 0% for 72mo. Free $$$$
$7500 tax credit
Brings a $39000 car down to $24000 pretty quick.
Am I reading this right? $22500 discount+tax credit off a $39000 car. Add in tax and things, so that's around $20000 out the door. Wow.

Thats good to know and I sort of expected it. That being said, he would be utilizing the DCFC network rarely if ever. He just doesn't like to drive long distances.

The real reason we are looking at this car is because of the rebates and incentives Nissan is offering. Here's a run down on what this dealer is offering.

Brings a $39000 car down to $24000 pretty quick. Then add in $100 savings per month on gas and a few MD tax and utility incentives and it becomes a pretty good deal, IMHO.
We are going to talk about a lease, mostly because of the Chademo thing, but I really don't think this is a bad deal so far.
That's the sort of deal we got on our 2016 Leaf we bought in 2017. Ours only has a 30kWh battery, so that 100 mile top range is pretty limiting.

Yes, you will have both CHAdeMO and J-1772 charging. L1/L2 charging will continue to use a standard that will persist (J-1772), so no problem there. For the length of a lease I think there will still be enough CHAdeMO chargers around that it will be a decent car as long as you aren't planning much road-tripping.

If I am reading the paperwork properly. We were just on a fact finding mission so beyond a short test drive and a few questions we didn't dive too deep into the money end. I took the print out and left. Looking at it later I believe that's what it says. Now, I could be misreading and adding $7500 in twice somewhere. Still, that seems like a good deal

This one has the 62kwh battery, 226 mile range for a commuter seems pretty good to me.

Honestly you will get more informed info on the leaf forum. I still own a 2018 leaf which was passed down to my son. It’s a fine EV with no serious issues. They are cheap for a reason and have had huge discounts for years. The only marjor drawback is that the resale value has been in the top worst for a while. The Fast charging isn’t an issue for a daily driver, just traveling longer distances.

Let me be clear since you are asking for Feedback on a MME forum, it’s no where near the same league. I no longer enjoy driving it on occasion given the MME is my daily driver.

good luck and let Nissan be with you!

Is that for the 2021? I am researching these as well as a cheaper option for our second car, which would pretty much be the around town commuter.
