Car Scene Korea reported hitting 373 miles in the refreshed 2025 Ioniq 5; very interesting if true because the refreshed Ioniq 5 only has a slightly larger battery (84 vs. 77 kWh).

Leaked photos of the 2025 MY refresh. Seems the renders were pretty close.

Nice refresh. I like it better than the Ioniq 5's refresh, except for its lack of a rear wiper. Ioniq 5 adds a rear wiper, so a little strange the EV6 doesn't also receive one.

I don't really see why it needs one. I've never wished for one. Here is a comparison of how my GT and how my CX5 (with rear wiper) handled a snowy drive:

That rear wiper didn't help much. Even when using the defroster.

Aah, inflation. Old, boring news. We’re past that now. Already landed gently, taxiing to the gate, and the winners in first class (USA from all walks of life) are sipping on chilled Cristal.

I’m, of course, joking. But you don’t need to look very far to appreciate how well the US economy is doing both in absolute and relative terms.
Simply put, some aspects of the US economy are great, such as employment and investments, but they are being overshadowed by inflation and interest rates, which makes everything way too expensive. Wage growth has not kept up.

This double-whammy of higher costs and higher interest rates is especially strong in major purchases like housing and vehicles. So yeah, the market isn’t great right now for new cars, especially the already more expensive EV segment.
