According to @Mocar, the EV6 will be getting a mild refresh with a redesigned exterior and interior. No word yet on whether there will be an upgrade to the battery tech/powertrain. Artist's impression below.

Looks like a solid refresh with cool looking new wheels.

• New 3 spoke steering wheel

I have to say, if this is accurate it's a huge improvement over the original. Much sharper look.

Good thing the MME was perfect from the get-go and there's no need for an update there

They literally changed just the headlights...

While I was quite impressed how the EV6 GT drove, I just didn’t like how the car looked like something fell on top of the car compressing the whole thing down by a foot.

Ioniq 5 has a similar theme (low but spacious) but I definitely prefer the Ioniq 5 design over EV6. Ioniq 5 interior was less appealing to me than EV6 (and I like MME’s better than both of them) but all in all they are solid EVs. Both cars had mediocre sound systems in comparison to GT Performance.

I do see ioniq 5 once in a while but very rarely EV6. Same for MME but indefinitely see more MME than both of those combined so I cannot help but think that they didn’t sell much at all. Maybe even worse than MME.

Hopefully these refreshes and some good promotions get them into more hands!

Right now we are teetering a bit on EV here in America. Lots of early teething issues coupled with nasty economy have blunted adoption. I think its more economy and papercut issues vs a restyle needed.

Nasty economy? Longest stretch of <4% unemployment, solid GDP growth, and record stock market valuation. You’ll see how you’d feel when the economy gets real nasty. Sheesh.

I dislike the look of both cars. They are trying real hard to make something special and distinctive, but it didn’t work. Also, I rarely see one in the road, far less than I see EQSs / EQEs and Taycans. That tells you something.

Aah, inflation. Old, boring news. We’re past that now. Already landed gently, taxiing to the gate, and the winners in first class (USA from all walks of life) are sipping on chilled Cristal.

I’m, of course, joking. But you don’t need to look very far to appreciate how well the US economy is doing both in absolute and relative terms.
