The EV6 is a great car on paper, but it's a truly ugly thing IMHO. The rear in particular is laughably fugly.
It works well in the real world. Looks are subjective. Performance and reliability aren't.

Personally, I like the looks of the EV6 and Ioniq 5 and 6. And you can't argue their 800V architecture is superior to ours. However, if I were to buy one, I'd be spending some time in their equivalent forums to this one to get a sense of their real-world experience. I would also avoid their lower trim packages, which I have heard described as "economy rental car quality."

Anyway, this is the "versus the competition" section of the forum, so at least any fanboi smack-talk is in the right place. Put perceived trolls on Ignore, and be happier!

Its hard to take someone serious when they dog Kia as a brand from the driver's seat of a Ford.
Haha, nothing lower on the totem pole than a Korean branded car, remember your Daewoo reference, only brand below the other K brands. Worst dealers in the biz and lowliest of price point shoppers.

Look, take your frail ego and head back to the Kia forums, or did they kick you out for being such an obnoxious putz?

You're like all the goofs in the Vette forums quoting specs and how "other than styling" their cars are better than P and F cars. Haha. Just small pocketbook guys trying to rationalize their inadequacies "via specs", just like you.

BTW, which mainstream model EV was the only one to suffer the largest YOY sales % declines from '22 to '23? One guess. Move along now lil guy and enjoy your Kia.

Indeed looks are subjective. One thing is for sure, I'm a Telluride owner and the Kia dealership experience is even worse than Ford's. They're both pretty bad, so I'm not sure that's a compliment to either side.

Not making a good first impression there, chief. We don't behave like this around here.

Seems your comments would be best served to the troll unobtanium, interesting that they aren't.

Does this forum suffer trolls weakly and endlessly? or is it a community for brand/model enthusiasts and intenders and not other brand owners just throwing rocks? Are you the admin?

I do not see that user's posts. You're well on your way to joining them. At a whopping total of 4 posts on the forum, you may want to show better manners in general here towards others.

You found this post in a thread asking to compare an EV6 to a Mach E. I did. Now you're breaking code of conduct and insulting me because 1) you dont like it, and 2) you can't refute my points.

Yeah ignore the troll, he's an idiot.

I almost got an ev6. I still like them a lot. Ford's price drop convinced me to get the mach e, and I'm very happy with it. They're both great cars.

Ford has better interior and exterior styling, better range on the extended, better ui IMHO, better pricing now.

Kia has better charging, better warranty, slightly faster 0-60. Kia seems to be dealing with 12v battery issues. There are a lot of complaints about dying 12v batteries on all their forums.
Better charging comes with some huge asterisks.

1. They are pretty terrible at V3 Superchargers, which are shaping up to be the backbone of the nation's charging network. Seems like you'll be lucky to get 100kW?

2. Lots of L1/L2 OBCC issues throttling L2 charging. Not sure if Kia/Hyundai has fixed those issues.

Better warranty is debatable, Kia/Hyundai is pretty notorious for squirming out of repair bills.
