My MME Premium AWD is nearing one year old now, and it only has 2600 miles on it so far. I know about the 10K Maintenance Schedule, and I have asked the dealer about any maintenance at my low mileage. They don’t return calls. I will likely try another dealer.
I know to have the tires rotated at one year, but is there anything else I should do, or have done?
Also, I read a lot about the 12 volt battery being an issue. Can anyone suggest a portable 12 volt battery charger?
Thanks!

Tires rotated at 10k, I wouldn't do anything at 2600. If that's your yearly mileage rotate every 2 years. Cabin filter every 2 years.

If you look at the maintenance schedule, things trigger by TIME aren't there. It's all trigger by mileage. So at one year, and 2,600 miles, do nothing.

I have an anecdote to share.

I retired and stopped driving long distances daily. I took a part time job at a local Hardware store 3 blocks from my house to keep busy and get me out of the house.

Since I didn't even put 3K miles in two years I didn't take my car to the dealer for yearly inspection.

The result was a rats nest in the engine compartment that killed my Escape on my way down to see my family in Huntington Beach.

The good of the story is when I got towed to the Ford dealer I saw the MME for the first time and bought my MME.

The Bad was I had to buy a new car because the repairs were higher than what the Escape was worth.

My moral of the story is why not just take it in and have it inspected because stuff happens...Might save you $ in the long term.

Just my opinion.

I would get the tires off and have the brake calipers serviced, I do mine once a year at a tire rotation to make sure the pads move properly given snowy/slushy winter operation and under use from 1PD.

My first 2021 Premium MME needed rotor work at 8k miles but when the dealer offered me more than I paid to trade in for a 2022 GT with no roof/windscreen recalls it solved the brake issue.

I just had the 12 month service done yesterday at the dealership. As others noted, it's only a tire rotation, but they also did the recall software update for the 22MME (which Ford said in October would happen automatically but still hadn't) which took a couple of hours. I have 9000 miles on the car & am still thrilled with it!
