The hard part is there are so many frequent updates right now flying around it’s hard to prove causation.

I got up on the left side of the bed today and it rained. Unsure if I made that happen or not.

I did your experiment again today before going on a trip...changed the update time by adding 2 additional minutes compared to the previous setting, and got this OTA today...Ford Power-Up 6.3.0. Either Ford is pushing a lot of OTA updates back to back, or your trick really works!! ...Or at least it has successfully done it for me.

In this case it is the former. Three updates in 24 hours for 2021's. GWM+APIM+TCU

My car got 3 separate updates in less than 2 days thanks to your trick! I didn't change my update settings whatsoever, but I think your trick must've worked because so many other people changed theirs and that had to have had an impact. Can't deny this logic.

Today I will give thanks for my good fortune to those who did change their times.

It shows how little faith there is in the OTA process that people think that this is the reason for the updates. Mine received the first two overnight while sitting in a parking garage in Canada and then the third after driving for 30mins the next day. So I guess some people need to change time for a minute but I need to drive to Canada to trigger updates ?. Enjoy that we are catching up and that the updates are rolling again.

Personally, I think Ford didn’t want all of the 2021 owners spending the holiday complaining to friends and family about being stuck on 6.1.0.

Full sized poodles are no joke and are probably under-utilised as K9. Like shepherds, they are also likely smarter than some of your friends.

Still on 4.2.2.2, delivered 11/21. Tried one minute advance, and nothing.

Will turn off Auto Update, try manual, see what happens. If nothing, will change to two minutes advance and Auto update again.

Don't know why we're all focused on this. But I object to being this far behind everyone else.

You leave auto update on, just simply change the time when it does it

Weird question: The alert status from the 11/21 update to 4.2.2.2 has remained on. Is that unusual?

Have read the update in FordPass and on the vehicle.
