Hi,
I'm going on a roadtrip soon and I would like to only charge at IONITY chargers to reduce costs. I've carefully planned my trip and added every stop into my navigation but the car ignores the chargers I chose and keeps on adding other random chargers 20 km further.
Does anyone know how I can force my navigation to: only use IONITY or only use my chosen chargers? I just want to be sure that my battery preconditions itself correctly for fast charging.

Thanks in advance guys!

Might want to point out you are in Germany.

Preconditioning isn't really an issue in these temps.

I thought he was in Belgium. Belgium is not currently a part of Germany.
I was on mobile and didn't see his country, just Google "Ionity" and it came up in Germany. Same issue though - if you want answers that are relevant, make sure people know locale on things like DC charging.

I'm in Virginia US.
The only way I could get the built in navigation to go to the chargers I wanted was to break up the route so it ended at the charger. Then I'd put in the second charger as a destination etc.

otherwise it kept changing the chargers.
Same with ABetterRoutePlanner. Once i uploaded to the car it changes the charge points.

Try this.

1) Put in your destination in navigation and let the car figure it out. If your desired charge stop is not the one that the car picked, then change it.
2) Tap on the horizontal bar at the top of the map that has the next turn direction. You’ll then get a complete list of turns and charge stops.
3) Find the charge stop that you do not want and tap it.
4) Then tap “replace.”
5) Then tap the 3 lightning bolt icon at the top of the charger list.
6) In the resulting list, look for the charger you want and tap it.
7) Hit “Go.”

Sometimes, your desired charger will not be in the list because it is too far from the car-selected charger. Wait until you get close to it or past it and try the above method again.

You can lock in the charging points if you spend some time with ABRP.

Finding and using chargers for mach e is frustrating, especially when it requires multiple apps and isn't always accurate. Especially if no co-pilot.

Multiple Apps Needed:
ABRP, PlugShare, Google Maps, and Ford Navigation.
Inaccurate Information:
Chargers not recognized or outdated listings.
Difficult Station Selection:
Can't filter by network or pick specific stations.
Route Planning Issues:
Can't plan charging stops while actively charging.

Hopefully, things will improve. It should not be this difficult to find a charge station.
