Spotted my first Silverado EV here in NH this morning. Fleeting, driving in the other direction on the other side of the highway. Sales started in earnest in Q1'24 (based on GM's sales data). So it only took until the 3rd quarter to spot one.

Hell of a lot sooner than it took for me to see my first Lyriq. Now the only "unicorn" I'm watching out for is a Honda Prologue. The hunt continues.....

Congrats on the sighting. ??

Being in the Bay Area, you’d think some rich soccer moms around here would have them. I haven’t seen one yet in the wild. ?‍♂?

Might be time for GM to pull out the lease deals?

I saw an Equinox for the first time yesterday. And a Blazer earlier this week.
The Silverado options kinda sucks for $100K. Do you want black or white?

I don’t understand GM. Why wouldn’t someone buy a Hummer EV at that point?

Are the dimensions the same? I know the Hummer is very wide. Does the Silverado also way near 9,000 pounds? That weight means you cannot drive the Hummer over some bridges here in NH

My first spotting was in April. Have also seen truckload of Blazers (March), just saw one driving yesterday. A dealer near me has sold many Blazers and has an Equinox as well.

I have a Hummer it is 9k lbs and is as wide as a Raptor or TRX. Silverado is 8k lbs, same width as a regular Silverado.

GM will definitely pass Ford in EV sales by the end of this year.

You'd hope considering they have more than twice as many EVs as Ford.

I saw a Honda prologue just Monday morning while charging my car. And I think someone at my job drives one as well. Haven’t seen any blazers or Silverados in my area and I’m kinda close to the Bay Area in California.

Prologue and ZDX were at an EV show I took my Hummer to.

I'm waiting for the Equinox to gain traction. I think the only thing that could really get in GM's way is GM. Absent that, I don't see why the company shouldn't continue to do well in the BEV space (thinking about Bolt success).

Woah... looks like GM went full clean-sheet design with *this* new EV Truck...
Ugh.
*Disclaimer* no Tupperware containers were harmed during the design or assembly phase of this new, ground breaking Truck.
