We own a '21 plate Mach E AWD Ext Range(UK RHD) - the driver side matrix headlight has failed it's MOT for, frankly, being all over the place - full beam is far too low, dipped beam too high. It's been to Ford for diagnostics and, frankly, they are clueless and were unable to locate the fault(there's no error codes or anything helpful like that) and said they could repair it on a 'trial and error basis' meaning they would replace the light(£2k) and then if that didn't work replace other parts connected to the lighting system so could be a very expensive repair. I know the lights consist of a number of parts and I wondered - before splashing out on a new matrix light for a start - has anyone had a similar experience or any knowledge about the matrix lights before I plunge into the unknown? The passenger side light is perfect so I don't think it's anything to do with the level sensor for example(unless anyone knows different).
Any help is incredibly appreciated and welcome.
