May production?

I’m in a similar boat. I ordered a select AWD iced blue mme on 02/11/22. No word on updates or anything.

Did you order gray interior? I ordered black. I tried to change to AWD with gray but dealer said Ford would not allow then to change. (Approx 3 weeks ago) I was scared after that to change anything.

I think begin ordering in October for January production. When I ordered in November the estimate was 28+ weeks.

That's exactly what they will be trying to avoid. Starting 2023 production in January leaves no cushion. Last time they planned for a six week cushion and that wasn't enough. They do not want to be still shipping 22 MY cars from the factory in 2023. They don't want to be even delivering 22 MY year cars in 2023.

I wonder if they’ve given dealers additional time to make the park assist update. I imagine that if they were to do a full schedule today, a lot of people who’s dealers weren’t proactive would’ve been skipped over.

My dealer seemed unaware of the park assistance issue. Makes sense that if this is common then there would be a lot of unclean orders and Ford might have delayed to fix it.

I ordered a Rapid Red Premium AWD right around the same time and have a very similar schedule. Don't think it's shipped yet though. Expecting in early May. Hang on everybody, it will be worth the wait! ? I wonder if the number of people ordering from a particular geographical area affects the production timeline for that area?

Wondering if any January orders received a scheduled production date? I checked this morning, nothing. Is there anything I can do to move my order along quicker? I’m ok with the park assist prep kit. Should I tell my salesman that? This is my first experience ordering online. I’m trying to patiently wait, but it’s hard? I ordered premium ER RWD 1/26/22 in IBSM. Order was accepted by dealer on 1/27/22. I purchased my first Ford 13 years ago, 2009 Ford Flex limited. It has been my favorite car ever. Very reliable and comfortable. At first I was looking at Tesla model Y until I found out Ford was doing an EV. It was a no brainer for me, the Mach E would be my new car love. I’m now a Ford fan since they sold me a great product so long ago. Is there still a chance at May production date?

I posted this question this morning. Im new to the Mach-e forum, so I was not sure how to ask everyone. I sent it to Ford Motor Company because that is the only recipient I could think of at the time. They responded to the newbie, how awesome!!! I’m hoping I’m doing it right this time.

I ordered same day as you. Grabber Blue CART1 4X and I haven’t heard anything yet. I’m not holding my breath for a May build, but I will be slightly bummed if I don’t get a June build. It would be nice to get it before fall, but I’m also not willing to pay ADM so I’ll wait patiently for my car. ? Best of luck to you.

Ford's stated delivery time for Premiums was 28+ weeks, it's been looking like most premium orders are more on the '+' side. Since you ordered 1/26/2022 do not expect a delivery before august, realistically would be september/october. My money would be you would get a production date in July/August.

Patience is key.

My order for a Premium AWD was 11/17/2022, still no production date.

Travman; I've same order date and my model is same or similar (Premium AWD ER). Nevermind no production date, zero 'non generic' communication from Ford. Got the "your model has been changed" email that seems to be common but no details on "changed".

For OP, IMO, unless supply chain issues get miracle cure, I'd be prepared for a 7 month wait from ordering. If it comes sooner, Happy Birthday.

7 months? My Premium ER order is already 6 months (175 days) old and no build date (earliest is 45-75 days out). 10 month wait is probably more reasonable.

It's been almost 6 months for my order and I still haven't even been scheduled for production. If you ordered a Premium in January, chances are you'll get it fall or winter the way things are going. If you don't have a ton of patience, I'd recommend hunting one down on a lot. Make it a fun road trip if there's none near you. Not all dealers do markups.

I see that my Birthday is an unrealistic expectation. Nothing wrong with a little hope though, maybe delivered with a red bow on it??
