Congratulations and welcome to the Macheforum.
Take a moment, if you don't mind, clue in us fellow ZEV Californians to "your dealer". Have you done business with this dealer or Ford previous to your order? Did you order through Ford.com or the dealer? How is it that you were so blessed? The unblessed would like to know. :p
(My dealer is Autonation Ford Tustin who lists 51 MME in their online inventory but nearly NONE of them are actually destined for there, but rather Torrence and Valencia Autonation Ford dealers, more "high volume" than mine.)

As far as I know, it was standard on the Premium and CARt1 trims, available on the Select Trim with Comfort/Tech package, and available on the GT with the 360 Camera/Blue Cruise package. If you had any of those trims/packages, it was going to be included automatically. But it seems your dealer has pulled it but maybe did not notify you. It's not like there was really a choice though...

My dealer says they didn't alter my order in any way. So it must have never been part of my order.

I'm in Austin, TX and ordered from a smaller dealer. Maybe I should have gone to the bigger ones?

In theory, yes, but who knows? The allocation formula is really incompatible with direct consumer online ordering. The formula essentially looks at your past sales performance to determine how many units you should receive, among other secretive things we don't know about. This "works" when the dealer is the one solely ordering. But when you layer in online ordering, you have no clue what each dealer's situation is. You just pick one. A winner? A loser? Wait and see, nobody will ever tell you.
This is the clash of a century old ordering system making a leap into the future created by Tesla, with no adjustments in the internal processes. We are collateral damage. Really shameful, Ford!

I posted here a few months back about a small dealer in a rural state who decided to charge $1K below MSRP to any Bronco online order. People all over the country decided to order with him and fly there to pick it up. But when the reality of the allocation formula kicked in, some people would not receive their car until 2025. It's archaic and completely incompatible with online ordering. It must end!

I haven’t seen any May production posts. Is it behind the scenes?!! Seems like if you call Ford, some people are getting results??‍♀

Wondering if any January orders received a scheduled production date? I checked this morning, nothing. Is there anything I can do to move my order along quicker? I’m ok with the park assist prep kit. Should I tell my salesman that? This is my first experience ordering online. I’m trying to patiently wait, but it’s hard? I ordered premium ER RWD 1/26/22 in IBSM. Order was accepted by dealer on 1/27/22. I purchased my first Ford 13 years ago, 2009 Ford Flex limited. It has been my favorite car ever. Very reliable and comfortable. At first I was looking at Tesla model Y until I found out Ford was doing an EV. It was a no brainer for me, the Mach E would be my new car love. I’m now a Ford fan since they sold me a great product so long ago. Is there still a chance at May production date?

I posted this question this morning. Im new to the Mach-e forum, so I was not sure how to ask everyone. I sent it to Ford Motor Company because that is the only recipient I could think of at the time. They responded to the newbie, how awesome!!! I’m hoping I’m doing it right this time.
You all are facing a rather long wait considering I ordered my MME AWD ER Premium way back in early October 2021. I‘m starting to roam dealer lots to see if any EVs are just sitting around. ?

Well that should clear it up. If it was something that had to be selected in the order entry, I must not have selected it - since I rarely park on the street, I don't need it.

Thank you for the clear answer.
I ordered a Premium ER AWD in December and my original order said I had "Active Park Assist 2.0." When I look online now that line has been removed, but all other options/features appear to remain. Perhaps this is what the March 1st or March 18th emails from Ford we're really discussing, because the purpose of those was always unclear to me...

I wouldn't assume you did anything wrong here, as it may have been removed. Not sure if you have the original purchase spec saved.

I did not save a detailed listing of options - it is also possible my order had it and the new listing doesn't show it - similar to the orders showing the price increase that we expect not to have to pay.

Thanks for the message.

I have two Premium ER orders (different dealer - one as a backup in case of ADM). One has APA removed and the other still has it listed. I guess one won't be scheduled for production soon :)
My guy at Mullinax Kissimmee told me they removed it from all their orders. Who knows if he knows what he’s talking about or if your Mullinax did the same.

I’m the type of car buyer (stubborn). See the car, fall in love with it, and refuse to buy anything else. This is the first time I didn’t find the car on a lot. ☹ This is definitely a lesson about patience (I’ve never had much of it).
I managed to wait 4 months until I searched and found one on a lot. I looked at other options, but didn’t like anything as much as the MME. If you knew me, 4 months is like dog years for me. The last time I said I was thinking of buying a car in the next 3 months I got one 3 days later. Patience is not a strength.

Confirmed. That Mullinax removed it from my order a week ago. My second order from Mullinax Apopka (less than 10mins from me) did not until yesterday.

I ordered the morning of the 1st when 2022 orders opened up with Kissimmee… no build date. At this point, I doubt I’m taking delivery on either Mullinax orders and sticking with the GTPE order (April build date) I have with Sun State.

Who knows what the perfect Ford formula is with getting your car quicker. Sacrifice a chicken to the auto gods or offer up your first born?????‍♀
