Nice license plate! I am in the Sac area and we are considering an MME for our next car. Any dealer recommendation?

When I was shopping, my local dealership in Elk Grove was marking up about $6k. I ended up buying from Walnut Creek Ford and recommend them. I did everything but the 'you must endure the finance step' online.

I *think* that's "Space White." It's kind of a light bluish-grey. I *think* "Star White" is more of a light yellowish-grey. Maybe I've got that backward... ?‍♂?

Space White is what I like to call Lunar White, it has that blueish hue to it. Star White is very bright white with a sparkle to it.

If it’s a bright white it’s star white; if it’s a greyish white it’s space white. Hard to tell from the photo.

+1 for Walnut Creek, it is worth the drive if you can't find any for MSRP locally.

I am spending too much time on this but the pictured Mach-E is definitely Space White, as the Mini Cooper is also greyer compared to the bright white car roof in front of it :D

Walnut Creek was mentioned, they are good. Another good one is Folsom Lake Ford. No markups, actually seem to care about service (AVOID ROSEVILLE AUTOMALL!), they made sure I got every incentive, program, etc available when I purchased.

One of them was yellowish to me. It certainly wasn't as white as my Fusion was. ?‍♂?

I bought mine (now my wife’s) from Elk Grove Ford. If you place an order with them, there is no markup. I was there last weekend getting my 30k mile service and browsed the lot. They had probably about 12 to 15 Mach E’s all parked in front. At least 2 of them had specials stickers on them so they might be motivated to sell. They had a couple GTs as well.

Which still begs the question: what nitwit came up with the naming scheme of star and space instead of something like snow and lunar so you could possibly remember which name is the bright white?

The answer to that question is of course: the nitwit who is now writing the release notes on the OTAs ?

I wouldn't recommend anyone go to EG Ford for service unless you want more problems than you went in with. It's also impossible to talk to anyone in service there unless you go knocking on their door. They were bought out by some large dealership group and they are just complete dog crap now. I just picked up my car from there today and they charged me $136 to tell me that they can't replicate my issue even when Ford has an SSM for it. But yes, they have a lot of MME's on the lot.

@DRCal68 since you're in Gold River just go to Folsom. The wait to service a car is 3-4 weeks but they are attentive and much more professional than EG. I know @markboris has a friend at a local dealership and he says it's good. I don't remember which he goes to when he comes down the hill, so he can chime in.

Whatever you do, avoid Hilltop in Richmond. The worst dealership I have ever dealt with, and I’ve dealt with quite a few.

Yeah, white in general is popular here — it’s a n uv light thing. With that said, I’ve seen exactly 7 Mach-es in two years. Two were star white.

You know the answer Tim. You do. It’s the same guy (or lady) who decided we need 72 shades of gray, 1 blue, and a token red. They’re likely color blind. Or perhaps we can all chip in and send them to remedial “Car Colors for Success” classes. ;)
