I've been talking a few Lyriq AWD owners in FL and they are experiencing 2.4 mi/kWh efficiency which is well under the 307 mile EPA range. Some had RWD Debut Editions before and experienced much higher efficiency. That efficiency is GT PE bad and only marginally better than the Rivians.

With a 102 kWh battery that's about 240 miles of range. That AWD Equinox with a smaller battery is never going to hit 285 miles of range unless you drive 40mph.

My son bought a 24 Trax. It’s a nice vehicle at a great price.

If the Equinox turns out like an electrified 24 Trax, that can be purchased for $38k with AWD, and goes almost 300 miles on a charge, it should be good for GM.

I turned down my Blazer EV (I was very early in line), because I couldn't get it with Supercruise - just not an option for the early production models…

I have a friend with a Lyriq and another with the Hummer EV, and they're both super happy with the purchase, so I’m not fearful of the platform.
Ditto. I also cancelled my Blazer EV reservation because Supercruise wasn't offered. No regrets!

Out of Spec drives the Equinox EV! Kyle: "Why would you buy a Blazer over this? The Equinox is so much cheaper...surprisingly nice vehicle..impressive NVH...quieter than the Silverado EV".

FWD in all versions does 0-60 in 8 seconds (319 mile range); AWD in all versions does 0-60 in 5.9 seconds (285 mile range).

They theorize that the FWD version would be a great replacement for anyone who had a Bolt EV or is looking for a relatively inexpensive commuter EV.

They also drive a 3LT AWD which is much faster for not much more money. They recommend the AWD.

Boy, I am happy to have a MME GT-PE. That C#@vy is fugly. ??
I’ve said it before when I’m bored driving down the highway I look for cars with one headlight or something burned out, it’s always a Chevy and my question is what is Chevy doing giving into the electrical car business lol. Now their old ones from the 70s and the 60s I like.

Being a Pontiac guy, the C#@vies were always the uglier cousins. ??
