Possibly the first MME in North America to get mud flaps. Had to import them from England, since they don't sell them in the US. The install was a bit more than I expected -- had to drill some holes, but nothing a mechanically-inclined person could not accomplish.

I may have to order from the UK too, was waiting for them to show up on the US store but I've already received one chip from tire kickup already. I'd be really tempted to get them painted glossy to go with the trim however they look good as is.

I'm surprised you had to drill. Normally Ford splashguards have you pull an existing pin and replace it with a different one.

Just to verify - did you drill into metal, or plastic? If metal, it would be aluminum, requiring special screws to not have a dissimilar metal reaction.

I wonder what the aero dynamic drag is on the highway. Did you do any consumption tests before you installed them that you could compare with?

Had to drill through plastic. Used some existing pins, but still needed to drill a few holes for new pins.

No. I'm not that worried about it.
