MY 2024 Mach-E Speculation

As I understand it, the car is expected to be in production till mid year 26. Traditionally at year 4 of 6 there is a minor front end facelift and some minor refinements. I expect mostly UI changes as they go to Android.

I agree with others, there won’t be many changes, they will have their hands full with the new battery chemistry. I think the changes will be mostly things we don’t see and won’t know about, reducing component count and complexity to reduce production cost.

I was so disappointed that they didn't duplicate the color selection from the original Mustang.
Lost opportunity, IMO.

Now that MY 23.5 has been release, let's speculate about what we would want to see in MY 24 models.

Here is my wishlist:

1. Better and more responsive software - hopefully if these cars move to Android from Sync they would perform better.ea
2. A return of features taken away from previous model years. The chip shortage is over so we can hopefully get park assist and hands free liftgate back
3. Ventilated seats
4. A sentry mode
5. Higher resolution backup cameras
6. Faster charging - faster charging curve

We should find this info out in August

I feel like if Ford doesn't do anything substantial in the next model year - they will no longer be competitive. Tesla is having a huge refresh for the model 3 and Y and with their reduced pricing they outperform the MachE in every way.

Would also like to add traffic ? detection like Tesla and a chime when state changes.
