My EV Driving Data in the app?

Ok, need my experts to help me on this one. The EV trip data seems all jacked up in the app. When I look at ‘My Journeys” the trips with maps are accurate, but when I look at the data for those trips, it’s way off. Like 13 miles vs 47 miles. What gives?

Yeah, seems to be a mixed bag of jumbled data for the most part. I think it combines metrics from multiple trips quite often. Lots of missed trips and occasionally factors in charge sessions to give absurd efficiency values.

Fair enough I didn’t know if there was some other rational explanation for it. I was just hoping for the best. So maybe that’s why the range estimates are so low. Fun stuff.

I was thinking that too, but the timelines match up with that day. I only took two trips; one to the in-laws and one back. The trip to the in-laws was 33 miles instead of 13 and then the trip home was 47 miles. Same route both ways and it’s only 13 miles. So it’s not even consistently wrong.

I wonder if this is related to the issue of the on screen trip computer doing the same thing. For that one I've noticed that consistently if I use remote start, it won't clear the distance data from the last drive.

Yep this!! Almost like once a week it’s going to trip out. It’s fine for 5 days and 6th day it will start combining and reset again but kWh on the car trip seems about right vs the app. The most recent trips first one was for my wife were 13 miles so it combined the 35 miles from yesterday and 13 miles to the gym. Then she went in town another 10 miles or less to get a salad and back again. It should have been 35 miles top but it said 77.1 back second trip. But I went in to car even though the car said 77 miles kWh was 2.6 but all said like 8+ lmao. I think it’s reporting cars recent overall trip history. So looks like car has the kWh right but app looks at it as single trip and high kWh.

yep it’s doing exactly that. But it doesn’t carry over the KWH of new trip overall that Car has for that trip.car Has kWh correct and app data be like nuta efficiency wise.

Folks, I am pretty sure that I have pushed every bottom in the app. The Ford app. I can not see find a page for trips or journeys, etc. what am I missing? Or you are using a different app. Thanks for the help in advance.
