Agree that A2Z is great to deal with. My first A2Z adapter was machined so that I could never get a solid link to NACS, so it would not lock. A2Z rushed me a replacement unit, which worked first time.
One other thing, not A2Z related. In Florida several Super Targets have installed Tesla superchargers very recently. UNFORTUNATELY, they have also put an asphalt 'bumper' (NOT a bollard) on the ground in front of the charger. I have never seen these before. This completely RUINS a Ford user from getting close enough to charge. Not sure if anyone else is seeing these, but I hope this is not a trend.
Somewhere in one of the many threads on using Tesla Superchargers is a post about getting some ramps that fit in the frunk to use to get the front of your car up and over obstacles. I tried searching for it, but couldn’t find it. I’m also eating pizza, so guess where my priorities lie. ;) ?

Hopefully someone else will remember this and repost it here.
I remember seeing that thread too, but I'm not sure where it was posted on the forum either.

For what it's worth, the RV leveler ramps in the link below are available at HarborFreight for about $30.00. They add just over 3.5" lift, and are 22 inches long. No idea if that will suffice for getting the front of the car over the bumpers or bollards one might encounter at a SuperCharger location. I bought them to back my wife's off-road wheelchair onto for easier transfers by raising the rear wheels and seat 3.5", and they work great for that.

Just got my A2Z adapter and tried it today at a large and nearly empty supercharger station. Everything worked perfectly and very fast, though I did have to push pretty darn hard to get the charger wand into the adapter before I could lock it there with the slide switch. I'm glad I bought it.

Yes the A2Z is tight for the first 6 uses or so. You must make sure it’s pushed in hard or it won’t fully latch.
I can confirm this. After about 10 uses it's fine, and I've confirmed this with a couple other people.

I brought something soft to lay on the ground and pushed the Tesla plug into the adapter.

The sliding switch on the bottom also loosened up after about 10 charges.

Thanks for posting y'all's experiences with the bottom lock not engaging. I thought I was just too weak or my adaptor was being stubborn.

I was having to use my WHOLE BODY WEIGHT and force it against the ground for it to work.
