NACS adapter holder for center console (3D print)

After I received the NACS adapter from Ford, I was trying to find the best place to store it. I wanted to keep it in the center console for easy access, but it is so heavy, it kept sliding around in there and it bugged me every time I heard it “thunk” around. So I designed a holder that keeps it secured nicely in the console.

It is designed to minimize the space taken up in the console by holding the adapter upside down vertically against the slope of the back wall of the console. It fits perfectly in my 21 Mach E and “should” fit in later models, but I haven’t fit tested any others.

Hmm, this gives me an idea. I keep mine in the pocket on my driver's side door (I use it frequently enough and never store anything else there), I should whip up a 3D printed design for that space to hold my adapter if nobody else has yet.

That's where I keep mine but I got this case to put it in instead of the cardboard box.

Yeah, I thought about something like that, but when we travel our trunk is usually very packed. And it’s nice to be able to just grab it as I’m getting out without having to go around and open the back.
