Nasty door ding

I just noticed this ding on my passenger side rear door. It must have happened either today or yesterday. I’m not sure if it’s worth paying for the repair out of pocket or getting my insurance involved. What do you all think?

Or you can try Dr. Color Chip. Used it on my wife's Nissan Pathfinder for small rock chips. Can't testify the color match on our Mach-E's though.

I would research the best PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) in your area and have him take a look at it. If he can get the dent out, the chipped paint would be easy to repair with a Ford Touch-Up kit.
