I searched the forum threads but couldn't find anything regarding this. How do you change the Navigation Volume? When I'm driving the volume is much too loud and the volume knob doesn't do anything. I could not find anything in the settings. Must be missing something.

Does it hold that setting? Every other Car I've had with a Nav unit had that option.

It doesn't hold the setting, and it's a very annoying bug that hasn't been fixed since Sync 4A came out. I don't know why that is, but unfortunately it's now muscle memory to turn down the volume with the steering wheel button every time I get a turn instruction ?

Perhaps it will be fixed with the new UI release.

I've found to adjust the volume ON YOUR PHONE while the navigation is speaking. Not the volume on the car audio, but the volume on the phone, and while the navigation is speaking. It's actually kind of dangerous, obviously, if you're driving. I had my wife hold my phone this last week while in a rental car, so she could adjust the volume while navigation was speaking.

Wow. I used the navigation for the first time on My first road trip that was 200 miles which started at 8:30 pm with a tired wife and three kids. The family was not pleased with how loud the volume was. They were not able to get much sleep in the car. Lol at least they kept me from from falling sleep with their complaining.

Maybe if your are using Carplay or GoogleMaps. OP said "navigation" as in Ford navigation.

We find Google maps to be more accurate so we won't use the Ford nav. I can't believe Ford is going to charge $95 yr for the nav after free period. LOL pc of junk.
